Are you searching for a place where your words can come to life? Where your ideas – big or small – get a creative boost? At the Writers’ Café, we combine writing and inspiration in the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere of the Parnassos Cultuurcafé.
The Writers’ Café is a monthly writing afternoon where you can meet fellow writers and work on your own projects – whether it’s a book, poetry, essay, thesis or assignment. No project yet, but feeling inspired? Dive into creative writing prompts and explore new sides of your writing style. It’s all about finding your moment and giving yourself permission to experiment.
Our writing teacher Max Urai, a professional in the field, is available during the session to provide feedback and answer any questions you may have.
The afternoon is structured into three 50-minute writing sessions, with short breaks in between. We’ll provide the first cup of coffee or tea and some tasty snacks. Feel free to bring your own drink too!
We write together, share what we want, and inspire each other with fresh perspectives. Writing in community (silent or not) is powerful. You’re welcome to write in any language you choose. Max can offer feedback in both Dutch and English.
