Entry requirements: This course is open to students at all levels of experience and proficiency.
Take your writing to the next level and learn how to write your own short story! This course centers on style and voice. The guiding principle comes from the poet Mia You, who said that a good writer can be interesting while describing a tea-cup.
In this seven-week course, you will write your own, 1000-word story. We’ll start with three weeks of writing exercises, followed by three weeks dedicated to a single idea, and conclude with a feedback session where you will hear back from your fellow students. Afterwards, you’ll also receive individual feedback on your work.
