Have you ever visited a haunted house attraction, go to a theme park during halloween, or have you ever watched any horror movies or plays? Have you ever wanted to scare the living daylights out of someone?
Now’s your chance. Whether you’re looking to join a haunted attraction, elevate your immersive theatre work, or simply unleash your inner creature of the night, this workshop will arm you with the tools to terrify… ethically, effectively, and with unforgettable impact.
This is no ordinary acting class.
This is fear as an art form.
This is horror as craft.
– Character Creation
Learn how to build a truly terrifying persona from the inside out. We’ll dive into physicality, pacing, and psychological presence. Whether you’re a haunted house stalker, ghostly whisperer, or deranged clown — your monster will come alive with purpose and menace.
– Scare Tactics 101: The Science of the Scare
Not all scares are loud. Learn the difference between the cheap jump and the slow burn — and when to use each. Timing, tension, eye contact, misdirection… we’ll show you how to manipulate your audience’s fear responses like a pro.
– Environmental Awareness & Safety
Haunting isn’t just performance — it’s interaction. We’ll cover how to work within tight or dimly lit spaces, how to safely scare without crossing boundaries, and how to read your guests in real time.
– Haunt Industry Secrets & Scene Work
Led by a seasoned scare actor and haunt trainer, this hands-on workshop includes scene practice, live feedback, and tips from inside the industry. You’ll leave with performance-ready skills and the confidence to make even the bravest scream.
