Dabke
In this course you will learn the basics of the popular Middle Eastern dance Dabke. Dabke is a folk dance seen widely in countries such as Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan. The dance varies by country and even by village, but there are a few basic principles that recur everywhere.
Short story writing
Take your writing to the next level and learn how to write your own short story! This course centers on style and voice. The guiding principle comes from the poet Mia You, who said that a good writer can be interesting while describing a tea-cup.

Do you love theater, and would you love to learn how to express yourself through your body rather than just your mind? Then the course Physical Theatre is perfect for you.
Flow improvisation
Be inspired by the magic of movement! Saskia has developed a series of dance classes that combine elements from the Gaga movement practice, Ecstatic Dance parties, 5Rhythms movement meditation, and Csikszentmihalyi’s Flow theory.
Bookbinding
Learn hand bookbinding, explore 4 binding techniques, and create your own notebooks. Includes materials and a visit to Utrecht University Library Special Collections.
Sci-fi & Fantasy writing

Belly dancing is an ancient dance form that originated in the Middle East and North Africa and has spread throughout the world. Originally a dance primarily performed together at events like weddings, it has now evolved into a captivating show dance, often associated with tales from Arabian Nights.
