
Dabke
In this course you will learn the basics of the popular Middle Eastern dance Dabke. Dabke is a folk dance seen widely in countries such as Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan. The dance varies by country and even by village, but there are a few basic principles that recur everywhere.

Flow improvisation
Be inspired by the magic of movement! Saskia has developed a series of dance classes that combine elements from the Gaga movement practice, Ecstatic Dance parties, 5Rhythms movement meditation, and Csikszentmihalyi’s Flow theory.

Bellydance
Belly dancing is an ancient dance form that originated in the Middle East and North Africa and has spread throughout the world. Originally a dance primarily performed together at events like weddings, it has now evolved into a captivating show dance, often associated with tales from Arabian Nights.

Burlesque 1
This course aims to introduce you to the basics of Burlesque, especially if you’ve never done it before. You’ll learn the showwalk, beautiful movements, and end with a short choreography in our theatre.

House 1
Step into the world of House Dance! Learn energetic footwork, develop your groove, and connect with others in this fun and social freestyle class.

House 2
This course is a more challenging follow-up to House 1. It’s suitable if you already have some experience with house dance or a strong foundation in another street or club dance style. You will deepen your understanding of rhythm, variations, and musical interpretation.

UUniversal Choir (female voices)
If you love singing together, then the UUniversal Choir is perfect for you! In this extended year-long course, we’ll work towards a show featuring a variety of multi-part songs.
