During the UUnited Music Festival, seven talented student music groups from Utrecht University will take to the stage together. From big band to choir, orchestra and close harmony: a day packed with diverse genres and musical talent.
Driven by a passion for making music together, collaborating, being part of something bigger, meeting one another, learning from and with each other, celebrating with the city and creating something beautiful together. That is what the UUnited Music Festival stands for.
The origins of the UUnited Music Festival
Since 2006, Parnassos has been organising large-scale student music concerts. Since then, Parnassos and the KOSMU societies have been actively involved in celebrating events such as the lustrum of Utrecht University. This has resulted in Decafonie (2006), the concert route ‘The Course of the Eternal Student’ (2011) and the UUnited Music Festival in 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2024.
