Are you a student or young musician in Utrecht and do you love to make music? Go mark the last Friday of the month in your calendar! Starting February 2025, Parnassos Cultural Centre presents Let’s Jam @ Parnassos: the place to jam, improvise, and have fun with other musicians.
Whether you’re an experienced musician or just excited to share your voice or instrument, everyone is welcome. The evening kicks off with a cool set by our house band, led by bassist Sascha van Loenen. After that, the stage is open for everyone to join them. The concept is simple: they start, you add what you feel. From hip-hop to funk and soul, we play it all, with plenty of room for spontaneous improvisation. Not a student? No problem! All musicians and music lovers are welcome to join in.
The mix of musical freedom, low-pressure participation, and our cozy bar makes this the perfect spot to meet new people, make music together, or just drop by to watch, have a drink, and enjoy the jams and good vibes.
