If you are inclined to be more in your head than to feel your body, you are missing out on a lot. But you might say, “I exercise, though?”

Often, even then, your mind is still active, thinking about the rules of the game or the dance steps imposed on you from the outside. Yet, precisely when you learn to give in to the impulses that you feel from within, magic happens. At that moment, you forget who you are and become the dance. The dance dances you. Then you enter a flow and become one with the moment. The ultimate form of self-expression.

Because once in that flow, your mind no longer interferes, and you experience liberation. The anxious voices telling you not to stand out, to hold back, or to conform to be accepted disappear. You can just be for a moment.

Moreover, you practice body awareness, allowing you to:

  • Better feel what is inside you and what belongs to others.
  • Better sense where to set your boundaries.
  • Become more aware of the (subtle) signals your body gives you.
  • Easily notice, experience, and process emotions.
  • Easily discern when something is good for you and when it is not.

All of these are things you can experience in the new Flow Improvisation course.

If the dance floor isn’t quite your thing but you still want to get out of your head and into the flow, check out our other body & mind courses.
