Burlesque 2

Entry requirements: Some dance experience, Burlesque 1 is not required. 

Do you have some dance experience and want to try something completely new? Or do you already have some Burlesque experience and want to grow as a Burlesque dancer? Then this course is perfect for you! 

In recent years, burlesque has taken the world by storm, and the interest is growing! And it’s no surprise – burlesque is all about expression, self-confidence, and of course, the art of the tease! 

What you’ll learn 

• Burlesque dancing, including some classics! 

• Choreographies to play with 

• A strong focus on self-expression and improvisation

About the instructor

Jolie Re’belle is a burlesque artist from the Netherlands. She has been teaching burlesque classes at Parnassos for several years and also performs herself. She also designs the shows for Cat Eye Cabaret, a burlesque group in Utrecht. Her classes are designed to help you switch off your mind and get into your body, and to challenge you to step out of your comfort zone. In burlesque, it’s not just your dancing that matters; your charisma and humour are just as important. So there’s plenty of room in the classes to experiment, laugh and cheer each other on.
