Do you want to learn acting? Do you want to discover what it means to perform on stage? Then this course is perfect for you! During these lessons, you will playfully get acquainted with the basic skills of acting. Emphasizing enjoyment, teamwork, courage, and freedom to play. Elements that will be covered include imagination, improvisation, teamwork, transforming into a character, and text treatment. By the time the course wraps up, you’ll have gained basic acting skills and a deeper insight into your own strengths and areas for growth in this field.
Erik Goetjaer graduated as an actor in 2009, but then progressed to director through a Directing Course in London. Through trial and error, he has now created his own style and directs for theater and musicals, both amateur and professional. He has directed productions such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Addams Family, Deathtrap, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and many others. In 2025, he wrote and directed his own immersive performance, Speakeasy, which was nominated six times and won two awards.
He also gives lessons, workshops, and masterclasses (from acting techniques to musicals to Shakespeare).
Erik wants everyone to have fun during the lessons while still striving for quality. He strives to maximize the student’s potential and considers each student’s needs. He strives to bring out the best in each participant. He does this passionately, enthusiastically, and purposefully.

This course will be held every week on the same day and time. If a lesson is missed due to a public holiday or other reasons (e.g. teacher illness, organizational reasons), the lesson will be made up at the end of the course.
