Entry requirements: you have completed a basic theater course. This course will be taught in English.
Advanced Acting is designed for people who already have a knowledge in basic acting and are ready to go deeper. In the basic acting course, you learned how to create a believable character, listen actively, and respond truthfully to others on stage. This course builds on those skills and challenges you to place your character within a larger dramatic context.
In the Advanced Acting class, the focus shifts to storytelling. You’ll explore how a character evolves over time and how individual moments connect to a full story arc. Through scene work and collaboration, you’ll learn how to sustain choices, track emotional development, and serve the narrative as a whole.
The course culminates in the creation of a collage performance made up of short plays, giving you the opportunity to apply advanced acting techniques in a dynamic, ensemble-driven production.
This course will be held every week on the same day and time. If a lesson is missed due to a public holiday or other reasons (e.g. teacher illness, organizational reasons), the lesson will be made up at the end of the course. Please note that a course may be extended by a few weeks due to this. You can read more about this in our terms and conditions.
