Are you a natural performer, spoken word artist, musician, dancer, or theatre maker? Do you feel at home in Utrecht? Then join the Parnassos Open Stage: Parnassos Fright Night on October 30!
It will be an evening full of surprising performances by young Utrecht talent, right in the creative heart of the city’s student scene: Parnassos Cultural Centre.
You’re the one we’re looking for if you:
- Sing, dance, act, write poetry, perform, or create: solo or as part of a group.
- Have something to bring to the stage that fits within a 15-minute performance.
- Be 18 or older and a student, recent graduate, Parnassos course participant, or UU staff member.
- The theme is Halloween. Your act doesn’t have to be related to the theme, but it can be! Feeling spooky? Go for it!
Both Dutch and English-language acts are welcome. The event will be hosted in Dutch.

Send an email to l.l.m.smit@uu.nl before 1 October 2026 with:
- A short description of your act
- A video or audio recording, and any relevant links (social media, YouTube, SoundCloud, etc.)
- Some information about yourself/your group, including age(s) and background (student, UU staff member, etc.)
After 1 October 2026, you will hear whether you have been selected and receive further information!
